How to Approach and Attract Women

First of all before you go about approaching women, it would be good to know what women want from men.

Say you are at a gathering, perhaps a party or at a friend's house, and you see a woman that is very attractive to you. But, you are shy. You certainly don't want to go over to her and be embarrassed by getting the cold shoulder.

So, how do you approach a woman? Well, there are many ways that are innocent and won't get out thrown out of the party such as:

1. Put a boyish smile on your face and introduce yourself. "Hi I'm Joe and I'm a friend of Carl and Diane. I come over here quite often but I don't think I've seen you before. Are you new in town?"

2. Notice her drink - if it's about empty ask her if you can get her a refill. Say - "I'm the designated waiter here tonight." (It just may make her laugh, which is the next point)

3. Make her laugh. The easiest way to a woman's heart is laughter. If you can get her to laugh, half of the battle is won.

4. Be interesting. Find her interests and talk about them. Talk about her. Don't go telling her how great you are - that's an immediate turn-off for a girl. Show you are interested in her.

5. Don't be pushy. Just take it slow and easy.

If people giving the party have children, mention them. Tell her some of the cute things they do. Show you like people. Be pleasant and courteous.

If all goes well, say - "I hope I'll see you again." If she says, "I hope so too." Watch her eyes. If they are shining and pleasant when she says that, you could take a chance and ask her for a date right then and there.

If you don't think the time is right - then wait. Check with the hostess in a few days to see if the lady had mentioned you to her.

Play it slow and easy. Remember, always try to make them laugh!
